Cornwall is home to a wealth of tourist attractions and places to see, whether you want quiet walks, culture or theme parks then the county will not disappoint.

The Eden Project

The Eden Project is located in a dissused China clay quarry, it is now home to two large enclosures consisting of adjoining domes containing plants from all over the world. One dome is home to Mediterranean plants, the second has a tropical theme. The Eden Project is located around three miles form the town of St. Austell.

Although the visitor centre opened in to the public in May 2000, the full site was opened on the 17th March 2001. The Eden Project has hosted the "Africa Calling" concert as part of the Live 8 concert series on the 2nd July 2005 and has been used in filming of the "Die Another Day" James Bond film.

Land's End

Land's End is located on the Penwith peninsula in west Cornwall, it is approximately eight miles from Penzance, Land's End is the most westerly point of the English mainland.

There are stunning views out to the ocean within just a short walk on either side of main complex, including the famous Enys Dodman arched rock. There are also film experiences, an exhibition and a child friendly farm.
